Do you know if the anti-static sprays will help keep dog hair off my black clothes?

I would sure like to hear from any who have tried the products. I buy most clothing from fabrics that resists dog hair, but have a few pieces that I would wear more if they were even a bit resistant.

Do you know if the anti-static sprays will help keep dog hair off my black clothes?

i have a friend that tried that spray on a polar neck jumper/tshirty thing and it worked fine for him.

I'm making a blanket but I want it to be dog hair repellent. What material should I use?

This blanket is to throw over a chair to keep dog hair off it.

I'm making a blanket but I want it to be dog hair repellent. What material should I use?

Canvas.

I'm making a blanket but I want it to be dog hair repellent. What material should I use?

TRY GETTING A HAIRLESS DOG CAUSE I DON'T ANYTHING ELSE IS GONNA DO IT

I'm making a blanket but I want it to be dog hair repellent. What material should I use?

well you know those rubber gloves you use to wash dishes...well you flip that inside out and rub the hair off

I'm making a blanket but I want it to be dog hair repellent. What material should I use?

Vinyl.

Maybe you could just use a bath towel - then it's easy to just throw it in the wash.

I'm making a blanket but I want it to be dog hair repellent. What material should I use?

Vinyl !

I'm making a blanket but I want it to be dog hair repellent. What material should I use?

One of the best ways I've found is using Scotch Guard once you've made the blanket. Hang it outside on the clothesline and spray the scotch guard lightly up and down each side. Allow to dry and your blanket is virtually repellent to dog hair!

It works for me!

I'm making a blanket but I want it to be dog hair repellent. What material should I use?

silk

A thin microvelvet or sueded microvelvet works (basically a polyester) and looks nice. My dog's bed is made from it and the only place the hair sticks is in the seams. Hmmm, what else...leather , vinyl, canvas and maybe aluminum foil. ;-)

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Some fabrics tend to make dog hair cling to it, others don't. Should I get chenille, cotton twill, microsuede, etc?

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Leather and any of the new microfibers are great. That's what we got when we ordered new furniture. I specifically said we have a major dog hair problem....

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

A lot of people I know swear by leather.

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Leather is the best!!! But still, someone's gonna have to clean it!

That's the tough part.

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Hair will cling to microsuede, but it is the easiest fabric to clean and holds up really well. Cotton twill would be my second choice, but I would steer clear of chenille.

I have a microsuede sofa, and 3 couch potato pit bulls. I do a quick sweep with one of those adhesive lint rollers and the hair is gone.

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Definitely not chenille or anything with a pile. Microsuede and leather are good. Best solution of all, keep the dog off the couch. It's not just the hair - paw prints, slobber, other bodily fluids. Nuff said.

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Leather is great, the only draw back is that it can be scratched by dog claws. On the bright side, a skilled leather tech can fix most things like that.. Otherwise, I just use throws over them when I don't have company so that I can wash them all the time.

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Leather. it is so much easier to take care of when you have a shedding dog or have to deal with animal hair.

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

i have a leather couch and it doesnt have any hair on it and i have two dogs.

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

whatever your choice, occasionally rub a dryer sheet on your fabric to help dog hair from sticking to it and then leave the sheet between or under your cushions.

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Leather

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

Leather, but be careful of the grade...Too soft and it will scratch easily...

What is the best fabric for a sofa, to keep off dog hair?

I've heard both good and bad about leather, although I have never had it. My favorite through all the years, ( and I'm older than dirt ) and have owned many, many dogs has been a polished cotton. Unfortunately, I don't have that right now and wish that is what I would have purchased the last time I bought new furniture. Do not get chenille or anything similar. You'll be sorry, as I a very well found out.

Is it okay to bring my own ball of fluffy dog hair to spinning class?

I want to control the color of yarn I make. They might supply hair from some nasty spotted dog and that would be ugly. My dog Sir Brownie Log And Rhythm has a nice brown coat.

Is it okay to bring my own ball of fluffy dog hair to spinning class?

don't see why not...

could maybe add some cat hair for that allergic person you find so annoying, come christmas... ;-)

Is it okay to bring my own ball of fluffy dog hair to spinning class?

genius you say? LOL thank you! flattery will get you everywhere! Report It

Is it okay to bring my own ball of fluffy dog hair to spinning class?

I suspect they may not get the joke..

Is it okay to bring my own ball of fluffy dog hair to spinning class?

I suspect my vacuum bag contains enough dog hair to make several sweaters. Tell me how to sign up for your class.

Is it okay to bring my own ball of fluffy dog hair to spinning class?

Just put it over in the corner with everybody else's, and pick it up when you finish working out, okay?

Is it okay to bring my own ball of fluffy dog hair to spinning class?

That sounds gorgeous. It will smell absolutely fragrant when it gets wet too.

Is it okay to bring my own ball of fluffy dog hair to spinning class?

Now that is funny! I would take some sheeps wool. Otherwise if you sweat too much you'll smell like wet dog...

Besides, your dog will look weird and feel self-conscious if you shave off his nice brown coat.

Is that spinning class down at the Amish Community Center, or are you going to the spinning class over at the dance studio where poodle skirts are optional?

I have a rental house its full of cat & dog hair.?

I have a rental house my renters moved out, and they took there 2 big *** dogs, and 4 big *** cats with them, but left the dog n cat hair behind anything I can do to get rid of it, its in the air ducks its everwhere in the house HELP ME PLEASE.

I have a rental house its full of cat %26amp; dog hair.?

Best bet for the ducts is a duct cleaning service that has a duct truck, it will clean the whole duct inside. For the carpets and furniture, they sell a sort of 'magic carpet' type product (powder) that has a releasing agent in it that will make vacuuming far easier to get it out of everything. Just hope you don't find any odoriferous presents. Good luck.

I have a rental house its full of cat %26amp; dog hair.?

well u can use duct tape..or the easiest thing..the vacum.

I have a rental house its full of cat %26amp; dog hair.?

There are companies that will clean the air ducts-you could use mirror %26amp; light to see if the fur collected near the vent: if so, use the extension wand on the vacuum;

triple-vacuum the carpets, then steam-clean them;

Be sure to get the tops of cabinets, closet shelves, etc.;

replace air filters, run furnace fan (set to 'on' instead of 'auto') once you're done;

bug bomb the place twice to be sure pet critters are dead.

I have a rental house its full of cat %26amp; dog hair.?

I gave Red Devil a thumbs up and wanted to add that you can get your land lord to pay for all this stuff. Tell him it is also in his best interest to have the air conditioner coils and the drainage pipe cleaned by a professional and to provide you with new air conditioner filters as these three things alone will save him several thousand in the replacement of the air conditioner due to being blocked up and burn out the motor due to all the hair. I had this same thing happen to me in one off the homes I bought. I did not realize the damage it would cause until it was too late and 110F outside with no air conditioning. To have all of these cleaned will also save you money on your overall electric bill as the air conditioner will be running in a prime state.

I have a rental house its full of cat %26amp; dog hair.?

For your own health, you can call a duct cleaner to come and give the home a full air handler cleaning. Bring in Stanley Steamer to take care of the carpets.

I would submit a COPY of the bill to the landlord with a letter stating that you intend on deducting the costs of cleaning from your next month's rent since he did not clean up after the last tenants.

I have a rental house its full of cat %26amp; dog hair.?

People!!!! You didn't read the question correctly. The questioner IS the landlord!!!!!!!!

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

We no longer have the dog, but there are still massive amounts of hair on all our dark clothes.

Is there anything they make that you can put in the dryer to collect pet hair?

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

Try a standard lent remover, the kind that rolls over your clothes and has the sticky substance on it that grabs the hair.

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

With a plastic household-glove you can take the hairs of the clothes/sofa etc.

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

I use one of those rolling things with the sticky paper on it.

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

Put the piece of clothing on and have someone else press sticky/adhesive tape against it. The tape will lift off all the hair.

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

Spray the clothes with water, then put in the dryer w/ a dryer sheet. It won't remove all of it, but you can get the remainder off with a lint roller (the ones that have sticky, tape-like stuff on them).

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

I'd say the easiest thing to do is to use a lint roller.

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

Lint roller - peel and roll, peel and roll, peel and roll...

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

to my knowledge, there is nothing that can be used during the wash or dry cycle.

Best bet, hang the clothes from a door jam or other open area, and get either a commercial roller with sticky paper, or just plain duct tape and run that over the clothes. The hair will stick to the tape, which can then be easily thrown away.

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

At the pet store I bought this special pet hair remover sponge for $2.00. You use it dry and it collects the hair when you wipe with it. It is reusable. You can wash it when it gets dirty. They last forever. I bought 2 last year and still have not opened the other sponge from its wrapper. I use it on clothes and furniture.

What is the best way to get rid of dog hair already on clothes?

I use a damp cloth on both clothes and furniture.

after you brush your dog collect all the unwanted hair, put it in a pile in your garden or yard ( not when its raining) now watch the birds come and get it...they use it for thier nests..how warm and cosy are those baby birdies gonna be? lol

Want a use for all that shedded dog hair?

Yup I do the same with all my Golden's fur too. The birds just love it. LOL

Want a use for all that shedded dog hair?

LOL Yup we do our part! Have a good one! Report It

Want a use for all that shedded dog hair?

We often have people come by the shop for hair to spread in their gardens to deter varmints.

Want a use for all that shedded dog hair?

nifty

Want a use for all that shedded dog hair?

Put it outside. The birds will use it to build nests. (In the spring.)

Want a use for all that shedded dog hair?

ehmagawd i do the same thing. and i also heard that some people use the unwanted hair to make jackets. and then they sell them for big bucks.

Want a use for all that shedded dog hair?

Do you want to hear about a unique way to use dog hair?

There was a guy I worked with and his parents bred Samoyed's, a big long haired white dog. He said his mom would take all the hair after brushing the dogs and spin into yarn and knit it to make sweaters from it.
