Does anyone know of somebody who might want dog hair for spinning yarn?

My grandmother had a friend, she died :o( who used to take all of my Samoyed fur.

I have seen clean undercoat sold on ebay for spinning. You have to be careful sorting it though as most spinners don't want the topcoat, hair from the legs or bottom of the chest or tail.

I know someone who spins her dogs hair into yarn bu I live in NM and I don't know if that is near you. You could do an internet search or just ask around. Good Luck.

I went to a web site a few years ago for some woman that took dog fur and made human/dog sweaters but I can't think of what it is now but you might want to try typing in something like dog fur clothing or something like that. I know it's out there but I can't think of it now.

What a great idea.Wish I'd thought of that. I usually toss hair in the mulch pile and have noticed the birds fighting over clumps of it I guess to put in their nests.
