On the slim chance that you are being serious.

It is a metaphor. You are hungover, like as if alcohol was a dog and now it has bitten you (the hangover).

The correct expression is Hair of the Dog, meaning have a little of the dog that bit you. If you drank too much have a little more and it will make you feel better. A little like homoeopathy, they practice that if something has poisioned you have a little more and it will put things right.

It's "Hair of the Dog"

Applied to drinks, it means, if overnight you have indulged too freely, take a glass of the same wine next morning to soothe the nerves. 'If this dog do you bite, soon as out of your bed, take a hair of the tail in the morning.'"
