I toss mine in the dryer on a cool setting then any dog hair remaining I use a lint roller or just get masking tape with the sticky side out and use that.

Try using duct tape to get the dog hair out. The tape is really strong and can get the hair out fast. It beats picking each hair out by hand. :)
