Swiffer wet.

Use one of those Swiffer things...not the expensive one just the one that takes the wet wipe things. Sweep first and then take the Swiffer in to clean up the rest. We have the same problem and this works like a charm.

Get one of those Swifter Sweepers the Wet Jet one. I have a Rottweiler and I have the same problem. It seems to make it a lot easier. Good Luck to ya!

The best way is with a dustmop. Dust it all up, then use a dustbuster on the rest. If the floor is even a touch damp, you will just smear the fur around. No swiffer. Dry only.

You do realize that the broom actually needs to TOUCH the floor, right?

Ditto on either vacuuming or using a Swiffer.

Get a Sweepa; it's non-disposable so you won't destroy the environment, and it sweeps up *everything*. It's awesome.

I'm not sure where you can find one, we got ours at a trade show. Here is their website, maybe you can order online: http://www.sweepa.com/

I find that sucking it up with the hose attachment to my vacuum works best.

You can also stop some of the hair from even getting on the floor. They have shed-enders at Walmart and I'm sure most places that have dog supplies have them also. It's just a comb type device that you brush through your animal and it gets a lot of the undercoat hair (which is the hair that is usually shed) out before it has a chance to fall out on its own. Works great!

The Best way is to give your dog a bath using special shampoo every other day and brush your dog every day.
