how can i get dog hair off of everything in the house? even lint rollers don't work- we would need way more than 10 of them

my dog shed's like crazy also is there a way to get my dog to shed less?

We had ours shaved and it was great. but the reason hes shedding is corn in his diet. Almost all dog foods have corn. try avoderm if you can get it locally, its pricy but it did the job on our dog. It cut his shedding about 75 percent but the shaving is the best thing we did. and hes much cooler. oh and dont listen to barbi girl cuse our dog is healthy and he shedds all summer because of his breed.

my dog is just like that. you can try bushing him outside so he can get rid of extra fur before it just falls off on the carpet.

I've had to clean the floors everyday and use rollers on all the clothes.

Your dog might have a desease. Go see a vet. That isnt normal for a dog. Its either that, or its shedding its winter coat and getting its summer coat. Either way, just go to the vet to be safe.

When the weather is hot like it has been, animals shed. Give him a good brushing every few days(Outside) During shedding season, vaccum twice as much to keep control of the hair

Dog hair gets everywhere!! the best way to keep it off your furniture is to keep your pets off the furniture as well!!

a vacuum with a long hose and a brush tip will do the job beautifully, it's easier than lint rollers and cuts the clean-up time in half.

For the shedding I would recommend you check with your vet and ask him to recommend a brand of food, sometimes shedding can be a sing of poor nutrition. Also, you can just buy nutrition supplements in flavored chewable tablets.

Also I recommend you brush you dog every day to get the extra hair off the dog and off your carpet/sofa. This will also create an extra loving bond between you and your dog. Your pup will enjoy the massage and you will love not having so much hair lying around the house :-)

Give your dog a a good quality nutritional dog food. With the dog food, pour a tablespoon or capful of vegetable oil once or twice a day over the dog food. If you do it twice a day, cut it down to once a day after you see improvement. If you see an improvement and feel you can cut it back, then do it. If you don't see any improvement yet, then continue, it will not hurt them. You should start to see the dogs coat getting shinier and healthier with less shedding.

When my dogs were shedding kind of bad, that is what I did and that helped alot. Also, we gave them sardines mixed with their food once a day. Only get the sardines in oil and plain. Don't get all the different flavored sardines. The oil from the sardines will help the dogs coat too.

Sooooooooooo. . . . . what you can do, is. . . . . give a tablespoon or capful of veggie oil in the morning and do the sardines in oil for the meal later in the day.

Their coats are beautifully shiney and healthy and we stopped putting the oil in their food along with the sardines. We only had to do it for maybe a month and a half and that was last year sometime. They shedded some this summer but it was not excessive.

Keep the dog off the furniture, out of the bed, etc. I used to let my dogs get on our beds until the shedding thing started. I cut that out real quick!!
