I have a black (longhaired) newfoundland that has quite an upkeep on his hair. As much as I am cleaning up after him, and brushing him, his hair gets all over my laundry, mostly my towels. After I was them and dry them, they are COVERED in dog hair still. My dryer will not take it off. I've read to use a lint roller and I already use fabric sheets, and they don't get all of it. Anyone else with this problem have any idea how I can get the hair out of my towels before it leaves my dryer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, It's not fun to get out of the shower just to be covered in dog hair from the towels!
Thanks so much, and God Bless!
Black Dog hair on Towels?
I know the battle with dog hair well.
You might want to try spraying Static Guard on the towel first and then trying to remove the hair with a lint roller, vacuum, or whatever you like. I find this works on my couch...otherwise the static cling makes it stick to fabrics.
Good luck!

Well you could use extra bleach in your washer. They say bleach takes hair and lint off when in the washer.

My story is my German Shepard his hair is really pain, but I got a small electric 800watt power house vac. You need to make sure you got all those dog hairs off stuff before you bring out the towels. Don't the dog go into the bath room. The only thing I can think of to help you out is this:
1. wash the towels and dry them like normal
2. hang them out on a cloths line
3. take a leaf blower (yes one of those) and blow the hair off
Leaf blower that is powerful and get electric so your towels won't smell of gas either. If you want it off this is the only way. You're tried a lot of things I would have. But this would take less than 15 mins to do..
