Poodles and dog hair dye?

I'm planning on getting a baby girl toy poodle in the spring and I was wondering if anyone can give me some good and bad things about poodles so I can make sure. I have a chihuahua too - how might they get along?

Also- does anyone know of groomers in PA who do dog hair dye? I want a pink poodle, and I know the dye is safe and it washes out in about a month. Don't say negative things about it, because I know what I'm doing and that's not the question I'm asking.

Well, poodles on the good side are extremely intelligent dogs that don't shed very much. They tend to have a good attitude, and are fairly non aggressive.

The only bad side I can think of is that they require some maintanence with their hair, or else it gets messy. I don't live in PA, but I would certainly think that looking in the yellow pages could help, or going to a local pet groomer, and asking some information on it.

Your chihuahua may get a little jealous, so try introducing them gently, and give both an equal amount of love so they don't hate each other. Goodluck! :3

she peed everywere and we ended up having to give her away becuase she was always so hyper and it was impossible to potty train.

i did not really read the first part of the question... but i think they use kool-aid... it is not bad for them and.... not too long ago i found out that vinegar helps it stay in longer...lol long story.

I think when they dye poodle's hair they use food coloring so it won't harm the dog with harsh chemicals.

A chi and a poodle will get along ok.

I dont know any groomers in PA.... I do know that you can dye your dog with food coloring or koolaid tho.. just mix with dog conditioner, rub into your dog's coat.. leave it in for about 10 - 15 mins, then rinse. It wont harm your dog.

Actually Peta is an extreme animal rights group. In all reality, they dont even want us having pets. They honestly feel dogs and cats should be running free, and are better off dead than to be enslaved in our homes.

Paris Hilton deserves the worst pet owner award. She seems to buy a new puppy every time she buys a new handbag. Remember when Tinkerbell was "lost"? Turns out she had left him at her mother's and forgot he was there! Her pets are nothing more than cute fashion accessories. She gave Tinkerbell to her mother when she got another Chi.. her reason for giving up Tinkerbell was because he was "too big".
