Put on a pair of rubber gloves. Dip the gloves in cool water and shake off excess water. Rub the glove over the furniture in a rolling motion, and the glove will collect the hair. Wipe off the glove as needed, redampen and continue until the hair is picked up.

Wrap tape around your hand with the sticky side out and pat it over the furniture to pick up hair. This method works best in smaller areas with less hair.

Run a damp sponge over the furniture, using downward strokes to pick up hair.

Run a soot-and-dirt-removal sponge over the furniture, again working in a downward motion. The sponge is used dry but may be washed and reused dry as needed.
