They make those lint roller things that would work great for this, or wrap duct tape around your hands and pat the couch, you would be amazed at what you get off the fabric. I also did some research for you and this is what I found:

I have used lint rollers but duck tape works well also and is cheaper. Just tear off a piece of duck tape and fold it in a circle around your hand and press unto couch replace when duck tape is full of hair.

lint rollers can get expensive if your dog sheds like ours.......we use duct tape, just wrap it around your hand sticky side out of course and stick it to the hair...works GREAT and cheap
