My dog sheds a ridiculous amount and I do not want to have one of those "dog" smelling houses. I vacuum almost everyday and he gets baths fand is brushed out frequently. I just can't keep up with all the hair. Is there a shampoo or a medicine or home remedy-ANYTHING!

Depending on what kind of dog it is, have him/her groomed and shaved down a bit. I have a chocolate lab/husky mix. He got the behavior and color of the lab but the hair of the husky. We have him shaved about every 3-4 months. The hair reduced greatly in the house. Plus we live in FL and it makes him feel so much better. Not nearly as hot for him.
