Another solution to dog hair that I have used is to attach the hose section and actually vacuum the dog..If a dog is started early with this method they are not afraid and actually enjoy it! It really does work.

what ever you do don't get dyson. THe worst vacuum every made, just go to Sears and see. Go with a used Kirby from eBay. I have one it my best out of the 15 vacuums a have. (I'm a vacuum Collector, so you can trust me!)
