Dog hair and fuzz on black/navy clothing?

I read somewhere (I think in a Heloise book) that you could put vinegar in the rinse cycle of your laundry to get fuzz and dog hair off of dark clothing.

I do lint roller the clothing but still it is not enough.

Can you give me any tips or advice on a good way to handle this? What works for you the best?

Thanks

I have a brush that works better than the tape on a lint roller. I think it is made of rubber. It has inch-long round rubber "bristles" really close together and if you brush it lightly over a jacket or pants, the hair just flies off. It is sold as a dog brush so look for it at a pet supply store or in the pet area at target or wal-mart. I used to have 5 cats and this saved my husband's business clothes!

Shave the dog?

Put it in the drier on air. This gets everything off for me. If you have little balls at elbows, pockets, etc. use a razor to shave it.

Put on a Playtex rubber glove it works better that a lint roller.
