My woven rug is covered in dog hair from my pup, how do I clean it? Vaccuum does not work?

The Vac does not work because its so thin, it just sucks up the rug - should I bring it to the dry cleaners? its a 4x6 I believe

Have you tried taking a broom to it. Take it out doors and sweep it. Hope this helps...:)

Try adjusting the height of the roller of your vac. Also try some of those tape rolley thingies made just for removing dog hair. 3M makes some and they roll the dog hair right off and work great. You have to keep removing the tape with the hair to get a new sticky surface.

Try wadding up some duct tape and pick it up with the tape.

Easy !

it might be a lot of work if you have a large rug but this really works .

Wear a rubber glove and with a brushing motion of your hand pull toward you, you will pick up all the hair.

And if you have hairs on a sweater you can put a bit of masking tape around your hand and do the same .

Try the LINT ROLLERS, they are very inexpensive and you can get them almost any where near the cleaning section of Wal Mart, K Mart, Target, etc. It is a roller that has sticky tape on the outside and it works pretty well.
