Dog hair???????????

hi.i just bought a used car which is pretty much in a new shape but the only problem is that the previous owner had a dog and its hair is everywhere in the trunk..(its a ford focus SE wagon) and i need to use the trunk alot.also i have a 7 month old baby and he already has some allergies so i am worried about the doggy hair...i got it shampooed from inside (the carpets and all) but there is not much of a difference..any suggestions what to do(besides changing the carpet coz thats really the last option)thanks

Dog hair???????????

Since you used shampoo already, wait until the carpet is COMPLETELY dry, then use a very powerful vacuum cleaner and then use one of those sticky rollers to pick up the hair manually.

You can also use strips of wide tape to cover the carpet and then pulling the tape off (the hair will stick to it.)

You might need to repeat this several times to pick up all the hair.

Get a proffesional cleaner to clean carpets, or if it's overwhelming, drive it off of a cliff! JK!

Dog hair???????????

a shop-vac won't work?

Dog hair???????????

Try brushing the carpet with a lint brush (used for brushing lint off pants and suits).... the kind that has very short, fine bristles. That should pull the hair out of the carpet

Dog hair???????????

you could try some tape, apply the tape and then pull it off, repeat this till it has no stick left, or use a vac with a brush and go over it till it comes up, hope this helps

Dog hair???????????

Try a lint roller It will take a while but it should work.

I would get a garden hose and fill the trunk up with water, and pour some detergent inside.

if you are serious about it if you live where the humidity is not to high and it is hot take seats and carpet out and spray with pressure washer then let dry if not use air when out.
