How to remove dog hair from a microfiber couch?

We don't allow our dogs on the couch, but inevitably hair gets on them anyways. I spend about 30 minutes twice a week using a lint roller to get dog hair off of our microfiber couches. The vacuum doesn't really work. The lint roller doesn't work that well either, it is just what I have. Are there any alternatives?

tape - get some decent packaging tape and put it sticky side out around your lint roller or around an empty paper towel roll- you may have to replace the tape a few times depending on the size of the couch and how much hair there is but roll the tape roll over the couch just as you would do with the lint roller and this will pick up the hair.

There are also lint combs out there- it is a little comb with shallow teeth very close together- I find that using these and working in short quick strokes is a lot more effective than a lint roller.

Some vacuum cleaners have an attachment - I think it is for draperies but it has little teeth or the brush attachment will work better than any other atachments - you have to use short strokes

They have these Pet Hair Remover Sponges. You just wipe the sponge over clothing, furniture, etc... and it wipes off. You clean it with soap and water and can reuse it. They probably have them at PetSmart. Here's a link to one: http://www.nextdaypets.com/directory/pet...

I have the same problem with cat hair! The easiest way I've found is to vacuum it with the hose on your vacuum. Comes right up!

The best way to remove cat hair or dog hair from furniture is to use a "used" Bounce sheet - one that has already been in the dryer - BELIEVE me - this works like magic!!! it will also take the hair off your bed spreads!!

They sell rubber gloves with little nubs on fingers. You just run hands with glove on over furniture and it clumps right up.
