If your dog has no hair on its body, and just a little on the head, tail,and feet, I would bet it is a Chinese Crested hairless. If it has almost no hair and is over about 15-20lbs then it could be a Mexican Hairless dog. Those would be the choices for a hairless dog. Pesonally I love Chinese Cresteds they have a very sweet personality, I have never had a mexican hairless, but hear that they are very nice dogs. Best of Luck with your new dog.

I've seen a dog that is mostly hairless and has a spot pattern like a giraffe all over his body, with hair only coming off the head.

It's not exactly hairless but it's pretty close. I forget the name of the breed though.

There is a breed called the Chinese Crested Powderpuff that is mostly hairless. They have a pouff of hair on the top of their head and at the end of their tail....funny looking to me.

I'm assuming you have purchased a Chinese Crested, which comes in a hairless variety and a powder puff variety. They require alot of work, keeping their skin in good condition. Hope you enjoy your pet!

YES I HAVE I HAVE ONE THAT IS A CROSS..THE BREED IS CHINESE CRESTED(HAIRLESS) OR PUFF PUFFS (WITH HAIR) BOTH TYPES CAN BE FOUND IN THE SAME LITTER OF PUPPIES..ONLY THING WITH THE HAIRLESS IS THAT THEY GET SUNBURNED AND IN THE WINTER NEED A WARM COAT TO WEAR EVEN IN A HOUSE.

Yes I love them especially the Chinese Crested.(Japanese Chins are very furry). There are several breeds of hairless dogs. One starts with an X. Something like a xoxutolo (spelling guess) also the Mexican Hairless among others. Even with no hair people can still be allergic.
