I have a Golden Retriever, 7 months old, and I love him so much it hurts - so good! I brush him every day and take very good care of him, but I am going to have to find a way to cut down on the hair that he sheds as I can see I am not going to be able to cut down on the shedding. I very much appreciate any suggestions!
Is there a house air filter that will filter out the dog hair I have floating around my house?

You can often help cut down on shedding with a high quality dog food. What are you feeding him? I was told then extensive shedding could be because of the dog lacking quality nutrients in quality food.

You could try a higher quality dog food or a supplement called Shed No More. They're tablets and will help reduce shedding.

The previous post has a point- excessive shedding could mean poor nutrition. However, retrievers are notorious for shedding, so it's just standard with that breed. I have heard those ionic breeze air things are great for that, though I do not own one. most groomers have anti-shed shampoos, as well, if you want to try that route. Good luck!

Well, a fairly expensive, but well worth it item is a Dyson vaccuum cleaner. We have 3 dogs that shed like crazy (even with the brushing and bathing and supplements). We bought a Dyson Animal 07 and LOVE it! It has cut back so much on dander and hair in the air.
Besides that, make sure he is eating a high quality diet, which will greatly reduce shedding.

Try a shampoo that reduces shedding and also the shed ender comb. I use both and my dog hasnt been shedding as much. As far as a filter idk try one of those ionic breeze fans
