I have a 7 year old Papillion, and for some reason, he insists on fleaing my hair and the hair of any guests that are in my house. He has done this for as long as I can remember, and I was just curious as to why he does this. He does not flea himself, my other dog, or our cats, just humans that enter our house. He will position himself so that he is comfortable and will flea your hair for as long as you let him. It does not bother me that he does this, I actually find it to hilarious and it adds to his already lovely personality, I am just curious as to why he does this.
Like I said, he does not have fleas and does not flea himself or other animals, just people.
My dog flees my hair?
By "fleaing" do you mea nibbling or sorts like he's searching for fleas?
If so,he's just grooming-everyone it seems. LOL. Could be a form of submission or dominance I assume.
